Content and Client Account Manager

Are you brilliantly organised, great with words, and deeply into shooting or countryside life? Do you thrive on building relationships and enjoy picking up the phone for a good catch-up? Fancy developing your skills in a dynamic, tech-driven business – while working with some of the biggest names in field sports?


ITap Group, the company behind GunsOnPegs – the UK’s largest shooting platform with over 160,000 members – is looking for a conscientious and proactive Content and Client Account Manager to join our close-knit, passionate team.


From Holland & Holland to Gamebore, Swarovski to Schöffel, you’ll manage the delivery of content and campaigns for some of the best-known brands in shooting. As the go-to site for sporting enthusiasts to fill their calendars, we’re looking for someone to help us become the most loved and trusted name in the sector.


This is a hybrid role with at least two days a week based in our London Vauxhall office.

This is a varied, fast-paced role at the heart of a small but ambitious team. You’ll manage advertising campaigns for brand partners, report back on results, and build strong, long-term client relationships.

 

You’ll also coordinate content across our member-facing channels - from email newsletters to sponsored articles and seasonal campaigns - while keeping plans, trackers and priorities organised across the board.

 

It’s a hands-on role that requires excellent organisation, clear communication, and a willingness to wear many hats. A genuine interest in shooting or field sports is essential – as is a love of all things countryside.

We are looking for someone who is...

  • Exceptionally organised with a great eye for detail

  • Confident in written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable picking up the phone and chatting with clients

  • Strong at planning and prioritising tasks, and comfortable reporting on progress

  • Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Familiar with tools like Mailchimp, Canva, and social schedulers

  • Friendly, self-motivated, and a great team player

  • Involved in field sports, shooting, and countryside life

  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above), or with strong A-Levels and relevant experience

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

Client Account Management

  • Acting as day-to-day contact for advertisers and brand partners

  • Building strong relationships – happy to pick up the phone and talk things through

  • Scheduling and delivering campaigns (emails, sponsored content, onsite banner ads)

  • Writing or coordinating branded articles and features

  • Sharing simple campaign performance reports with clients

  • Keeping deliverables and records up to date

Marketing & Communications

  • Creating and sending email campaigns (newsletters, promotions, partner features)

  • Organising and coordinating content for the GunsOnPegs platform

  • Supporting seasonal campaigns (e.g. Father’s Day, Christmas, gift guides)

  • Maintaining brand tone across all channels


Content & Editorial

  • Supporting the annual GunsOnPegs Shooting Census

  • Helping interpret and present census results as engaging editorial

  • Editing client-submitted content to meet house style


Admin & Operations

  • Managing internal trackers and scheduling tools

  • Raising invoices and keeping advertiser records accurate

  • Supporting event planning and logistics (e.g. The Game Fair)
